Privacy policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
1. Controller
The controller responsible for processing personal data on this website is:
Helvi Studio, Alvaro Rueda, sole proprietorship, Rigistrasse 1, 6440 Brunnen, SwitzerlandEmail: contact@helvistudio.ch
This privacy policy is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP, nDSG) and the Data Protection Ordinance (DPO). Where we process personal data of people in the EU, we also comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. What data we process and why
2.1 Visiting the website (server logs)
When you visit our website, our hosting provider processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, page visited, referrer, browser and operating system. This data is used to deliver the website securely and reliably and to analyse errors. It is not combined with other data and is deleted after a short time.
2.2 Contact form
When you write to us through the contact form, we process the details you give us: name, company, industry, language, phone number, email address (optional) and your message. We use this data solely to answer your request and arrange the call you asked for.
Your request is sent to us by email and also stored in our database, so that it is not lost if email delivery fails. We keep contact requests for as long as needed to handle them, but no longer than 24 months after the last contact, unless a contractual relationship is established.
2.3 Audience measurement
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how our website is used (page views, country of origin, device type, clicks on certain buttons). Vercel Web Analytics sets no cookies and does not store IP addresses permanently; visitors are only recognised by a temporary hash that cannot be traced back to them. We cannot identify individual people.
2.4 Fonts
The fonts used on this website are served from our own server. No connection is made to Google Fonts or any other font provider.
2.5 Cookies and language choice
This website sets no tracking cookies. If you change the language with the language switch, we store your choice in a technically necessary cookie (hs_lang, valid for 12 months) so that the website opens in that language on your next visit. The cookie contains only the language code and is used for no other purpose.
On your first visit to the home page, we choose the language based on your browser settings and your approximate location (country or canton), which our hosting provider derives from your IP address. This information is used only for the redirect and is not stored.
3. Our AI phone assistant
When our customers use the AI phone assistant in their business, each customer is the controller for the callers' data. Helvi Studio acts as a processor under Art. 9 FADP on the basis of a written data processing agreement. The customer decides whether and how calls are recorded; callers are always informed at the start of the call. For questions about such processing, please contact the company you called.
4. Processors and transfers abroad
We use the following providers, who process personal data on our behalf:
| Provider | Purpose | Registered office | Server location | Safeguards |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vercel Inc. | Website hosting, Web Analytics | USA | Frankfurt, Germany (fra1); static pages delivered through Vercel's global network | Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework, standard contractual clauses |
| Supabase Inc. | Storage of contact requests | USA | EU (Frankfurt, eu-central-1) | Standard contractual clauses, data processing agreement |
| Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Workspace, Gmail) | Sending and receiving email | Ireland | EU / USA | Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework, standard contractual clauses |
Where data is transferred to countries without adequate data protection, in particular the USA, we rely on the safeguards recognised by the Federal Council (Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework) or on standard contractual clauses under Art. 16(2) FADP.
5. Disclosure to third parties
We do not disclose your personal data to third parties unless this is necessary to handle your request (see section 4), required by law, or you have consented.
6. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose concerned or as required by statutory retention obligations. After that it is deleted or anonymised.
7. Data security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Transmission through this website is encrypted (TLS).
8. Your rights
Under the FADP you have the right to information about the personal data concerning you (Art. 25 FADP), to have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 32 FADP), to request deletion or restriction of processing, to object to processing, and to receive or have your data transferred in a common electronic format (Art. 28 FADP). Where the GDPR applies, you have the corresponding rights under Art. 15 to 21 GDPR.
To exercise your rights, an email to contact@helvistudio.ch is enough. We may ask for proof of identity.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC): www.edoeb.admin.ch.
9. Changes
We may update this privacy policy at any time. The version published on this website applies.
